After 150 meters you will come to a lay- by on the left at St Roberts Cave. Parking here for 2 – 3 cars. Take the steps down to the river where you will come to the first fishable peg. Downstream to the bridge are a further 2 – 3 pegs.
During the summer months the opposite bank can get quite busy as it is a day ticket water. The quietest time would be 1st January to 24th March as according to the sign no fishing is allowed from the opposite bank during this period.
